About the Dzogchen Teachings: Resting in the Nature of Mind

Based on Longchenpa’s profound teachings in Resting in the Nature of Mind, this course offers a clear and direct introduction to the essence of Dzogchen. Students will be guided to recognize the innate, ever-present awareness known as Rigpa, and to naturally bring this recognition into daily life, whether in meditation, routine activities, or moments of challenge.

Resting in the Nature of Mind reveals the mind’s true nature, showing how to move beyond habitual confusion, attachment, and conceptual thinking, and rest in natural clarity and openness. Students will explore key aspects of the Dzogchen view, including recognizing Rigpa amidst thoughts and emotions, distinguishing ordinary mind from awareness, and cultivating stability in this recognition over time.

This course provides a complete path from foundational understanding to deeper realization. It is suitable for both beginners seeking an introduction and experienced practitioners wishing to deepen their practice, revealing Dzogchen as a direct path to awakening to one’s intrinsic awareness and the path of Buddhahood itself.
