Immerse yourself in your spiritual journey and experience the supportive energy of the hills and caves blessed by many masters.
Founded by Ven. Chogyal Rinpoche, the Repa Retreat is a place where one can experience deep relaxation, heightened awareness, and presence. Rinpoche himself regularly retreats here for quiet reflection, and it is at the Repa Retreat that he leads group retreats as part of the Repa Program.
Located in the serene Lama Village of Pharping—near the sacred sites and meditation caves where Guru Padmasambhava once resided—the retreat sits gracefully atop a hill at an altitude of approximately 1,600 meters, overlooking the Kathmandu Valley.
We are a non-profit endeavor involving local people and young adults. Revenue from the retreat center is used to support its operations, while any surplus is directed toward charitable projects and the continued upkeep of the retreat.
The Repa Retreat is open for group and solitary retreats from March to mid-October. If a solitary retreatant can cope with the lower temperatures, he/she is welcome to stay in February and November as well (no heating).
